Les Caves Charlemagne

The Charlemagne cellars in the heart of Angoulême reveal the secrets of producing sparkling wines using the authentic Traditional method and offer Cognac, Pineau, Charente wine, etc.

In 1921, Lucien Charlemagne, oenologist from Reims, created "Les caves Charlemagne" in Angoulême, drawing their source from the heart of the ancestral vineyards of the Cognac region.

The diversity of grape varieties selected in our Chardonnay, Pinot noir... cuvées gives each of them a unique and inimitable character that delights lovers of great sparkling wines.
You will also be able to discover the range of Charentais IGP Mainart wines, which includes a complete range of varietal wines reflecting all the diversity and quality of the vineyards operated by the Maison des Maines.
