Mur peint « New-York Sur Charente »

This 260m2 trompe-l'oeil, occupying the entire wall of a building, is the work of the designer Nicolas de Crécy.

Very dreamlike, “New York Sur Charente” reminds us that the first name of New York was Nouvelle-Angoulême. It is inspired by “New York sur Loire”, 3rd volume of the “Le bibendum ciel” series.
Nicolas de Crécy graduated from the first class of the Angoulême School of Fine Arts, in 1987. He won the prize for best album at the Angoulême international comics festival in 1998 for “Léon la cam », with Sylvain Chomet.
Fresco created in 2001 by the association of muralists “Cité Création”.
