A remarkable testament to ancient art, the theater boasts exceptional dimensions and can accommodate 7,000 spectators. The highlight of your visit is the panoramic view of the Charente countryside from the top of the theater.

Before discovering this place, come and visit the interpretation spaceHoused in an old Charente farm, this space presents drawings, models and videos which will give you the keys to understanding the archaeological site.

Rouillac fair, every 27th of the month

The town of Rouillac welcomes the fair, every 27th of the month since 1806. It is one of the last fairs in Charente.

An event not to be missed, whether it's a Sunday or a public holiday, rain or shine! From 8 a.m., the center of the village of Rouillac is bustling with activity. You can find everything there!! Producers and food products are only available in the morning (poultry, fishmongers, local producers, etc.). On-site catering is available.

The Twenty-Seven houses the Palène association which offers a dynamic and varied cultural program (shows, concerts, theater, exhibitions, etc.), the media library, etc.

Priory Church from Lanville

In the heart of the village of Lanville, nestles Notre-Dame church (12e century). This former fortified priory church retains its choir and transept from the Romanesque period. This priory was one of the most important in Angoumois on the routes to Santiago de Compostela.

Since 2024, discover the place with virtual reality and immerse yourself in the adventure by thwarting the curse of the dark waters, saving the priory with the application Legendr.

Station Museum de Gourville

Discover the small station of the old economic line of the Petit Mairat train as well as the museum retracing the railway memory with the highlight of the visit, the 1910 steam locomotive.

Since 2023, come and try out the police investigation at the train station museum with family or friends.
