What is the Pays d'Art et d'Histoire label?
The general directorate of heritage within the Ministry of Culture awards the label “Ville et Pays d’Art et d’Histoire” to territories which animate, preserve and enhance their heritage, their architecture, their landscapes and their living environment. This label guarantees the competence of the teams of architecture and heritage mediators. It also guarantees the quality of their actions. Today a network of 220 Villes et Pays d’Art et d’Histoire offers its know-how to all audiences.
Guided tours and activities for children led by tour guides are available all year round.
