The Val de Charente Océan Agreement brings together the urban communities of Royan Atlantique, Saintes Grandes Rives, Grand Cognac, and Grand Angoulême. It strives to develop their territories around shared values and objectives. This is why the Val de Charente Océan Agreement decided to drive the creation, promotion, and marketing of micro-adventures in its region.
PROMOTING TERRITORIES THROUGH UNIQUE EXPERIENCES:
The concept of “micro-adventures”, in line with the expectations of today’s visitors, aims to offer authentic, local experiences on a controlled budget.
These are mini-stays, ensuring the discovery of a territory, while being part of the trend of sustainable and experiential tourism.
A CALL FOR EXPRESSIONS OF INTEREST (AMI)
To make this ambition a reality, the Entente Val de Charente Océan is launching a Call for Expressions of Interest (CEI) for project leaders wishing to design and promote original mini-breaks. They will need to submit a dossier detailing their project and demonstrating their ability to carry it out.
Applications must be submitted by the end of May 2025, electronically or by post.
The proposals will then be examined according to the following schedule:
• Beginning of June 2025: selection of successful project leaders.
• End of June 2025: presentation of the first avenues of reflection and intentions for action by the selected candidates, during the meeting of elected officials.
• End of September 2025: selection of micro-adventures to be developed.
• January 2026: presentation of the promotion and marketing plan for implementation from spring 2026.
This AMI is financed by the agglomerations of Grand Cognac, GrandAngoulême, Royan Atlantique and Saintes Grandes Rives.
