Discover our recently renovated 30 m² studio, on the ground floor of our home, designed for tourists, workers, cycle tourists in the heart of Angoulême. Located 5 minutes walk from the town hall, Vieil-Angoulême.
Renovated in 2023, our studio is composed of a room with an open kitchenette, overlooking the garden, and a bathroom with a large shower, sink and toilet. Please note: the studio is independent, but located on the ground floor of our house. We live in the upper 4 floors.
The independent entrance is through our garden. A large industrial workshop-style bay window provides brightness to the studio.
The kitchenette has a two-burner hob, storage units, a sink, a fridge and a Nespresso coffee machine. Crockery, a kettle and a toaster are available.
We always provide a few coffee and tea pods, a bottle of still water and a bottle of sparkling water.
A four-seater table allows for dinner and lunch.
A convertible sofa will allow you to relax: it is an extra convertible, for which we provide a mattress topper for greater comfort.
A library and tourist documentation are at your disposal.
The sleeping area (located in the same room) consists of a 140X190 bed, with a high-end memory foam mattress.
A television, with Netflix access, is at your disposal. Wifi too.
Why The Cool Wheel? Because if we welcome everyone - students, tourists, workers, hikers... - we also offer special services to cycle tourists. We discovered cycling ourselves some time ago… and we love it!
So enjoy this stay, the garden if the weather permits, the city and if you have a question, we will surely have an answer.
We decided, here, to play the local card. The bathroom linen and sheets provided to you come from Du Beau Linge, a hotel linen recycler located in Saint-Yrieix-sur-Charente. In the shower, the bottles are made in Cognac by the Little Pots company. To fill them: soap and shampoo from the Léa Nature brand, made in Périgny, among our Charentais-Maritime neighbors.
Books and newspapers. We have provided you with a small selection of books and magazines in the studio. Novels, thrillers, sports, comics. We have more than 1500 works in the house. If you would like to borrow one during your stay, do not hesitate to ask us.
Furthermore, if you would like to have the local newspaper every morning, free of charge, for ideas for outings or simply for information, don't hesitate, we will send it to you.
