Wide choice of wines, champagnes, spirits and craft beers.
Sharing and conviviality are at the heart of the "Maison Soulat" spirit. Born in the middle of the Bordeaux vineyards and established in Charente since 2002, Jacques Soulat created Maison Soulat in 2010. He develops his activity around precious moments of exchange. Driven by a passion for wine and human contact, this “Explorer of Tastes” likes to visit the estates he represents, exchange with winegrowers and pass on his discoveries to the epicureans of his two boutiques in Angoulême and the Cave Saint-Sornin.
Local wines and spirits (whiskies, gins, cognacs, liqueurs, etc.) hold an important place at the heart of the offering of its three cellars, ambassadors of the Charentais terroir.
Jacques Soulat is also a winemaker. With his partner Olivier Pucek (Maverlan), they are behind the "Sapiens" and "Petit Sapiens" vintages. Convinced of the richness of the Saint-Sornin terroir (in the north-east of the department, between La Rochefoucauld and Montbron), they decided to create this wine project together with the aim of restructuring the historic vineyard. It had been more than 10 years since any wine had been produced under the IGP Charentais Saint-Sornin designation, yet it is the only zoning vintage in Charente. The "Sapiens" vintage is designed for long-term aging, while "Petit Sapiens" is a gourmet and elegant wine, offering immediate pleasure.
