The Domaine de la Chevalerie – Vignoble Pelletant, located in the commune of Saint Amant de Nouère, extends over 38 ha of vines. It produces a wide range of products ranging from Cognac to grape juice.
"Coming from four generations of winemakers, I took over the family estate. But before becoming the passionate man I am today, I traveled a long road.
You should know that the wine world obeys rules of which transmission is a part, a "taste" for hard work and confinement in the intimacy of the farms. Since my youngest age, I prefer to avoid everything that is established in advance.
So I took off elsewhere, I said to myself that if I wanted to be able to contemplate my plots of vines every morning, I had to develop a different project, in my image. It took me a few years to work far from here to train myself in tasting, management, marketing… In 2011, I understood what my job was, my passion, that of changing the vision that we can have.
My first actions in this new, chosen, and not imposed, path have, over time, allowed me to combine my personal emotions with my vocation. The organization of convivial evenings featuring artists on the property and many other events have emerged…

- Exhibitions of artists throughout the year in the shop.
- Evening drinks and concerts in the courtyard of the Domaine.
- Winter concert to mark the end of distillation.

Exceptional closings on January 1, Easter Monday, Ascension Thursday, Pentecost Monday, May 1, May 8, July 14, August 15, November 1, November 11 and December 25.
Shop open Saturday mornings. Saturday afternoons by appointment only.
