The Resistance and Deportation Memorial Space, a place of history and education, in the heart of old Angoulême.
Through a dynamic scenography that mixes archive images, texts, plans, objects and audio-visual media, the Resistance and Deportation Memorial Space offers visitors a journey through 5 themes allowing them to approach the 1939 period. -1945 in a very accessible way: occupation, repression, deportation, resistance and liberation.
In parallel with the permanent route, come and discover the temporary exhibitions that punctuate the year.
