Exhibition “Further. The new science fiction”

Ten years after the exhibition on the Métal Hurlant years, the Cité de la BD presents with "Plus Loin - La nouvelle science-fiction", the first major exhibition in France on science fiction comics within a museum.

"Plus Loin" will present the work of nearly 150 French and international authors. In an immersive scenography, visitors will be able to discover a multitude of original boards as many sources of inspiration and exciting universes in which to absorb themselves.
The exhibition aims to consecrate the term "new science fiction", which outlines an approach to the last almost 40 years of creation, mainly French-speaking, in this field, from the end of the first generation of Metal Hurlant, a cult magazine for the SF comic book fandom which is celebrating its 50th anniversary, and the first collections of science fiction comics such as the Série B label of Delcourt editions which renewed the genre for two decades.
