The Clef Verte label has launched its call for applications for 2025

Recognize the environmental commitment and social responsibility of accommodation providers and restaurateurs in your area by supporting them in the process of joining an international network.

First volume labeling process in France and around the world for sustainable tourist accommodation and restaurants. La Clef Verte offers a support process with advisory auditors and project managers.
Applications are open until April 15, 2024 for new candidates and until March 30 for winners re-audited this year. For the rest of the process, on-site audits and support from the Clef Verte team will take place from May to September and the final jury in November.


This year, in order to strengthen the quality of the files at the time of submission, it will be requested that 75% of mandatory criteria are already satisfied when the file is sent. New mandatory attachment requests have also been added for several criteria. This development was put in place to promote the success of new candidates.

Understanding the Clef Verte label

Clef Verte was analyzed in the guide to labeling procedures for sustainable tourism co-published with ATD. In addition, a webinar presenting the approach with feedback from Haute-Garonne Tourisme is offered to you.

Clef Verte also offers a webinar presentation of the label for candidate hosts and restaurateurs as well as focuses to better understand the Green Key criteria concerning the chapters “Environmental policy and customer awareness”, “Water management”, “Energy management” , “Responsible purchasing” and “Waste management and living environment”. All are available in the professional area.
