10 minutes from Angoulême, this route between villages and undergrowth will allow you to discover in complete peace of mind 3 washhouses, each located on one of the sources of the Anguienne originating in Dirac.
Your itinerary

Step 1
Opposite the town hall, take Rue du Bourg to the left. Place des Rampeaux, cross the RD 104 and go down towards Chemin du Prieuré on the right. Turn right at the bottom.

Cross the D104 to follow the Route de la Reinerie – see the cross at the crossroads then the Logis de la Reinerie. Take Rue du Châtelard on the right, then Rue de La Tranchade on the left in the hamlet of Ribondaines. Continue into the Bois de la Pue.

At the bottom of the path, turn right and go as far as the road. Follow it carefully to the left until you reach the first path on the right. After the bend, cross the Anguienne and emerge to the left of the castle wash house – see the castle on the height opposite the wash house. Follow the road to the left and walk alongside the ponds.

After the well, turn right onto the small path in front of the first house. Ignore the washerwomen's path and continue along the side of the house. Go back and forth to see the Boisseau washhouse a little further down on the left.
On your return, go back up into the village by the wash house path then turn right on Rue du Centre. Cross the path of the bees and continue on the grassy path opposite.

At the edge of the wood, take the path on the right. At the next intersection, the one on the left and continue to climb in the wood.

Turn right before the houses on the left.
Come out onto the road to Puyrajoux which you follow to the right. In the center of the village, turn left in front of the house, cross the barrier and go down the path on the right to pass the Grand Font wash house.

Step 7
Turn left twice and go up towards the village – see the castle as you pass.
At the end of the path, follow the sidewalk to the right to reach the Place des Rampeaux and the starting point.
