Parc de l’Abrégement

Sculptures by contemporary artists: Andy Goldsworthy, Antony Gormley, Christian Lapie and Joël Shapiro used the curved woods, oak trunks and sequoia of the park, devastated by the 1999 storm to create their original sculptures.

At the edge of the high forest replanted after the storm with some 60.000 sessile oaks, the "querceraie" houses a collection of more than 100 varieties of oaks.
The flowery vegetable garden, surrounded by XNUMXth century walls, is structured by a large arbor and a stream that leads to an amphitheater of greenery, carved hornbeams.
