The Musée d'Angoulême offers collections ranging from the paleontology of the Charente, to the Fine Arts and non-European arts.
Access to the museum is via a sunny garden at the apse of the Cathédrale St Pierre in Angoulême.
On the 3rd floor you can appreciate a selection of paintings, sculptures, ceramics from the 16th century to the beginning of the 20th, and the productions of Charente artists.
To enhance your visit, we offer various activities (visits, workshops, conferences, etc.) and visit assistance, game trails for the youngest, olfactory terminals, etc.
Museum 3.0: Come discover or rediscover the permanent collections using films, virtual reality, augmented reality, serious games and enjoy a new presentation of the Agris helmet; Each level has surprises in store for you.
