Cassinomagus Parc Archéologique

The most monumental Gallo-Roman thermal baths in France!
Chassenon - Charente, between Angoulême and Limoges

An archaeological park where Antiquity is more alive than ever!

Cassinomagus, the ancient name of Chassenon, is a living archaeological site to visit with the family. The Cassinomagus baths are among the best preserved ancient monuments in Europe. In the heart of a landscaped and lively park of 15 ha, experience a real journey through time!
This year, come and meet our new residents: "De rustica, the animal meadow" presents an ancient barnyard (chickens, ducks, sheep and other ancient or local species).

Throughout the season, find our unmissable guided or costumed tours, our emblematic events, thematic holiday weeks (Spring and All Saints' Day), our outdoor escape game, the labyrinth of the Parcours des dieux or the gardens and games enhanced by new characters.

Events, visits and entertainment transport you back to the Gallo-Roman era.
