With over 20,000 original plates et 250,000 printed items Coming from all corners of the globe, the museum offers an exceptional panorama of graphic design, from its origins to today. Here, you'll meet the pioneers of comics, the legendary heroes of illustrated newspapers, contemporary authors, and new talents from around the world.
A museum in full transformation
From April 2024, the museum is experiencing an exciting period of renewal. From here June 2026, a vast modernization project will completely redesign the permanent route to offer visitors a immersive and sensory experience even richer. New technologies, creative scenographies, openness to the diversity of cultures and styles: comics are reinventing themselves, and the museum with them!
In the meantime, treasures to discover
During this transformation, the Comic Strip Museum continues to unveil the jewels of its collections. Original author's plate, cult object, rare edition or legendary poster... each visit is the opportunity for a visual journey through history and the imagination. temporary exhibitions invite young and old to explore comics in all their forms: humor, adventure, science fiction, graphic novels, manga, and much more.
