In the heart of a wooded crescent-shaped hill, the Boëme murmurs at the foot of the Logis de Forge, a 15th-century residence surrounded by its 18th-century hamlet. Here, nature and stone have been in dialogue for centuries, united by the light and the sound of water.
It is in this unique setting that Ghislain and Martine de Beaucé have given free rein to their passion for gardens. After restoring the buildings, they have undertaken, over time, to shape a veritable green setting: more than 5 hectares of landscapes inspired by their travels and by the careful observation of nature. Each space is an invitation to discovery, reverie, and contemplation.

A walk between seven green universes
As the visitor walks, they pass through seven distinct environments connected by bridges:
- The enclosed garden: At the foot of the terrace of the house, a space surrounded by dry stone walls and boxwood reveals a water channel bordered by roses and gauras.
- The water feature and the resurgence: To the west, a spring gushes from a natural funnel to feed a pond where aquatic plants play with the blue and green reflections of the crystal-clear water.
- The water lily pond: Crossing a bridge over the Boëme, the eye lingers on a vast mirror of water covered with pink and white water lilies, soothing and almost unreal.
- The clearing and the gazebo: A little further on, in the center of a clearing bordered by bald cypresses, a gazebo invites you to take a break, surrounded by climbing roses and clematis.
- The garden in motion: In a wetland transformed into a heart-shaped river, the silver willows undulate and give free rein to the marsh plants and flowers.
- Rectangular pools: Two large mirrors of water, fed by waterfalls and lined with Italian cypress trees, reflect the hillside. Asters, buddlejas, and pereskias add soft pastel shades.
- The Renaissance Garden and the Vegetable Orchard: Finally, the scents of lavender and roses waft through this small Renaissance garden. Below, fruits and vegetables grow alongside dahlias and morning glories.
A place of harmony and sharing
The Gardens of Logis de Forge are not just a place to visit: they are a sensory and poetic experience, where each step reveals a new perspective, each reflection an emotion.
