In addition to the many painted walls, the world capital of comics has been enriched with statues: the famous Lucien, by Franck Margerin, has been on display since 2015 on the roof of Angoulême station.

An obelisk 4,5 meters high and not far from 7 tons, homage to René Goscinny, sits since 2017 on the station forecourt. The polar beast, the statue of Blake and Mortimer and that of Spirou welcome travelers from the station hall. The work of the Chinese artist, Tchang Tchong-Jen, in the heart of the city, is a bronze bust, a tribute to his friend Hergé and on the "Hugo Pratt" footbridge, spanning the Charente, stands proudly towards the 'Ocean, Corto Maltese, sculpted by Livio and Luc Benedetti.

It's up to you to find them… the hunt for the most beautiful shots is open!!!
